Why We Able to Travel?

My friends commented when she saw our photos of my husband and I visited some beautiful places here in US before and after our trip in the Philippines. She taught that we have much money that we can take vacation anytime if we want to.
But back in my mind I know that we worked so very hard, save money and put it on our priority list if we want to go to the place that we want to visit or even to visit our families.
   By the way, that’s the comments that I always heard from friends.
The reality is not that we have much money for an instant. Here’s the reason why we could able to travel.

• A head of time my husband and I, we planned and start saving money for our goal.
• My husband work so very hard like work during the weekends when we plan to visit a place.
• Both of us set aside some money for our savings and for our trip.
• We don’t always go out in a restaurant to eat so we can save money.
• When I buy clothing: I always wait and buy when it’s sale/clearance and sometimes slightly use items in the store.
• When I have the time I made my own laundry soap and sewed my own cloth reusable feminine pads so I can save a little bit if not much.
• I worked partime so I have my own income. Instead of depending my husband salary when my family needs help.
• I sewed baby stuff and sell online and earn a little bit.
• I accept paying post to my blogs and I earned a little.
• Save..save…

I know for sure that I am not really good in saving money sometimes but at least I tried to when I can. We really need to save money so we can still pay our bills and have enough savings left for food and other stuff after our trip.

In conclusion we are not rich and it’s far from being rich lol!
