Handmade Overall for my Son

Time is flying so fast that it's like yesterday that I give birth to my son. My husband complains that his sleepwear is tight for him. So glad that I know how to sew and right away i sewed overall for my son the same day. It's perfect for this coming cold season. I am planning to sew more and make sure i make it little bigger for his age so he can use it for many months.
By the way, pretty much i love how it came out, it's my son first overall. I hope you like it:)

Fitted cloth diapers

I am not good in updating this blog. I've been busy since i gave birth to my son. Then doing a lot of stuff like sewing. Here's the sneak peek of my project sewing fitted cloth diapers.

Sewing Machines was Acting

I don't have baby now but I still like to sew cloth diapers and baby pillowcase dresses. For me it's fun and enjoyable because it's more than a hobby. I got a lot of waterproof fabrics that I ordered online and I am still working for it. Yesterday I finished serging most of the diapers but when I am about to sew the pocket my machine broke down. I'm glad that I have another sewing machine that I can use but it's acting not good too. Maybe I better rest and do other things before I scream and cry lol...joking but that's how I feel when I am in the middle of working and sewing machines stop working. Unpredictable Weather

The other day was wonderful and I can not believe I wear my shirt and short without worrying about being cold. But yesterday the weather is bad it's so windy and cold plus snow. But guess what? today is beautiful and sunny. Bear with me folks I am just happy when the weather is beautiful. I can go out and enjoy the weather and can start using my bike again yahooo...I am a happy camper.

Here's new fabric prints that I choose. It's for boy or girl and it's perfect for this coming spring/summer. I got couple finish diapers that I made before but I didn't finish my papers yet to become compliant. So I don't want to take a chance and sell the diapers. I should wait until everything is done. Then I can list all the diapers in my shelves. I can not wait :)

Beauty of Spring and Summer

To be with nature is the best therapy I can get especially when the week is tough and challenges. To see around and seeing those beautiful flowers in the park or garden during spring is so therapeutic.

 The beautiful and peaceful scenery while driving around is so relaxing and it's one way of taking a short break. It's just like short vacation for me and my husband. 

It's nice to connect with nature and also the creature of the universe.

Repurpose Cloth Diaper

 I can not resist the embroidered huge flowers when I see it in one of the thrifty store in town.
 It's not a diaper, it's a sweater and cute but no one want to buy it when it's summer. Too warm to wear.
I grabbed it and checked out. I put it in my sewing room for few weeks until I my mood to sew strike me :)
 

Viola I made pocket cloth diaper out of this unwanted sweater. It fits to 7lbs to 35 lbs. the elastic on the legs and back is adjustable. It's perfect to cover in babies disposable diaper in case you didn't use cloth diapers.
Isn't that cute? Baby Madie is modeling the finish repurposed diaper.

Sewing Update Soon

It's been few weeks now that I didn't sew. I get tired and just feel like resting for more weeks. But maybe I will sew more baby clothing next week who knows. For right now I don't have sewing update but maybe soon:) By the way, I need to get a going before I'm late. Stay warm.

Immigration

It's still fresh in my mind the time we process and file our immigration papers. It's really pain in the bottom. But if you ask help and have immigration lawyer to do it for you. i think it's more easy and hassle free. I learned my lesson now based in our experience and by next time if i file my immigration papers i will maybe ask someone to help me instead that i do it alone. The immigration lawyer is a great help to make it convenient.

Chilly

I heard few people says that it's a good November and that there's no snow on the ground yet. Then the funny thong is that I don't want my husband to say something about the weather.  I remember when he said something usually it become true hehe maybe it's coincident because today there are calling for snow. Im not ready yet but what can i do maybe thats the way it goes. Stay warm.

ignoring my pain

I try to ignore the cramping  in my stomach but I still feel it. I hate taking pain reliever because the side effect that they gave to me is bad. I feel dizzy, itchy, nauseated and seems like confuse. I better take it easy now ad stop this online thing.
